Trovary account deletion — English
Delete in the app
- Sign in to Trovary with the account you want to delete.
- Open About & Support.
- Select Delete account.
- Review the permanent-deletion notice and confirm.
The app keeps the session active if the deletion request fails so you can retry. After a successful deletion, it clears the session and returns to the sign-in screen.
For a Sign in with Apple account, the app revokes the Apple authorization before deleting the Trovary account. If the Apple credential is missing or revocation is temporarily unavailable, nothing is deleted and the app asks you to sign in with Apple again or retry.
Request deletion without the app
Email the public support address below to start an account and associated data deletion request. If possible, send the request from the email used to sign in. Include whether you used Google or Apple. Trovary may reply with a limited verification step before deleting the account.
Never send a password, access token, refresh token, ShareLink, complete shared URL, or YouTube URL.
Start deletion request by email
If the button does not open a mail app, send the same request directly to aros.care@gmail.com with the subject “Trovary account deletion request.”
What is deleted
- the Supabase Auth user for the verified Trovary account;
- Collections owned by that account;
- items in those owned Collections; and
- ShareLinks belonging to those owned Collections.
In-app deletion also removes Received Collections and account cache stored locally on that device. A request made by email cannot remotely erase local-only Received Collections on another device. Clear Trovary app data or uninstall the app on each such device to remove them.
What may remain
- Reusable YouTube metadata cache records may remain because they are not owned by or directly linked to one Trovary account.
- Firebase, AdMob, hosting, infrastructure, and provider records follow the applicable provider retention settings.
- A deletion-request email and a minimal verification/support record may be retained as reasonably needed for security, support, legal obligations, or to document completion.
See the Trovary Privacy Policy for more detail.
Sign in with Apple
Trovary exchanges the one-time Apple authorization code on its authenticated backend, does not retain that code, and stores the resulting refresh token encrypted on the server. In-app deletion uses that token to revoke the Apple authorization before deleting the Trovary account and related data. A verified request made without the app may require you to complete deletion in the app or use Apple Account controls so Trovary can confirm that the Apple authorization is disconnected before completing the request.
